Griffin Electric Gives Back to Local Students Through its Annual Backpack Drive

Holliston, MA (September 2026). Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. (Griffin Electric), a leading electrical contractor throughout New England and the Southeast for nearly five decades, recently collaborated with the Holliston Pantry Shelf and youth programs in Milford as part of its annual Backpack Drive. With the summer winding to a close and students returning to classrooms soon, the company and its employees donated backpacks filled with school supplies to help ensure that children in the area start their school year off with all the materials they require to succeed.

The annual Backpack Drive is just one of the many initiatives the company and its employees support throughout the year to give back to others in the community. Griffin Electric aims to always utilize its resources to better the lives of the people it encounters and the communities it serves. These core principles of service and generosity are ingrained in the company culture and exhibited by every Griffin team member. Employees always strive to help others, and they demonstrate every day what it means to “Work with the Best. Be the Best.”

The company is always pleased to be able to work with local charitable organizations and support them in their missions to help others. Back-to-school season can be a particularly stressful time due to the cost of school supplies. Griffin Electric team members were proud to donate backpacks to students in the Holliston and Milford areas ranging in grade levels from Pre-K to high school. These backpacks were filled with a variety of age-appropriate school supplies, from writing utensils, colored pencils, and notebooks to folders, hand sanitizers, water bottles, and more.
