Holliston, MA (January 2025). A leading electrical subcontractor throughout New England and the Southeast for nearly five decades, Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. (Griffin Electric) demonstrated its commitment to the community this holiday season and participated in service initiatives across each of its regional office locations. As it has for so many years, the company and its employees donated hundreds of toys and gifts for families in need and also supported several non-profit organizations.
The New England region was pleased to participate in the Holliston Pantry Shelf’s annual Mitten project. Employees purchased specific gift requests for children in the local community, such as games, clothing, toys, or gift cards. Griffin Electric was also proud to sponsor a pop-up shop with Sweet Inspirations, a non-profit candy shop that provides vocational and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The company’s Southeast regions, based in Pelham, AL; Doraville, GA; Raleigh-Durham, NC; and Charlotte, NC, each held donation drives for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Griffin employees at each office location as well as at jobsites throughout these regions collected new and unwrapped toys for children twelve and under in support of this program. The company was also proud to make donations to some of the many food pantries throughout New England and the Southeast in honor of its friends in the construction industry.
At Griffin Electric, giving back to local communities is a year-round mentality. The company and its employees understand the importance of supporting those in need and are eager to participate in other charitable causes throughout the year.
